Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun Episode 5 Posted on: October 30, 2012 | 558 views In this week’s episode of Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Yuuzan pays a surprise visit to the school. With Haru out of sight, Yuuzan takes Shizuku away instead and later, reveals to her the tension between himself and Haru. Meanwhile, Haru re-encounters Chizuru, the girl he saved during the sports festival whom has now taken a liking towards him. Haru and friends return from summer vacation. Things seem normal, until Yuuzan was spotted within the school grounds, prompting Haru to make a desperate escape. Having anticipated Haru‘s reactions as a result of his presence, Yuuzan takes Shizuku away for a walk to Haru‘s chagrin. While desperately concealing himself from Yuuzan, Haru encounters Chizuru who seemed startled by him. After talking things through and receiving Haru‘s praise for her status as a student council member, Chizuru begins to develop feelings for him. But not before Haru receives an email from Yuuzan, telling him that he has taken Shizuku hostage. While Haru tries desperately to find and retrieve Shizuku, Yuuzan and Shizuku takes a stroll at the park. Shizuku eventually becomes annoyed at Yuuzan for beating around the bush and not specifying the purpose of his visit to the school. For that, he tells her that his motive was to inform Haru of their father’s decision to have him return to his home town. It was revealed that Haru was previously thrown out of his home, which, was the cause of his hatred towards Yuuzan and his father. Now his father wants him to return after hearing that he’d started attending school again. However, Yuuzan knows that Haru will only stay in school as long as Shizuku is there. Haru eventually finds the two. Yuuzan strikes a deal with him that he may not have to return home if he continues to attend school. Haru agrees but warns Yuuzan not to show his face again. Shizuku later asks Haru whether it’s really okay for him not to return home. He tells her that he wants nothing more than being by Shizuku‘s side and the two share a heartwarming moment together in the sunset. On the next day at school, Chizuru finally summons the courage to show her gratitude towards Haru for defending her at the sports festival. As Shizuku walks by, she notices that Chizuru may have feelings for Haru.
