Sukitte Ii na yo. Episode 5 Posted on: November 5, 2012 | 711 views In this week’s episode of Sukitte Ii na yo., Yamato invites Mei to his home. However, upon her arrival, his sister Nagi doesn’t seem too happy about Yamato‘s new girlfriend. Yamato adopts an abandoned black kitten and names him Kuro. He later invites Mei along with her cat, Marshmellow to his home in the weekend. However, Yamato‘s sister, Nagi views Mei as an eyesore and refuses to accept her as Yamato‘s girlfriend. Yamato later apologizes for his sister’s rudeness, but insists that Nagi is actually kindhearted. Yamato later temporarily leaves to pick up a gift from Kenji. Meanwhile, Mei attempts to converse with Nagi and discovers that they both share a similar past of being betrayed by people that call themselves their friends. Coincidentally, it was Yamato who managed to ease Nagi from depression. Mei convinces Nagi of the similarities of their past. She tells her that it was Yamato who taught her to trust others and provided her with assurance that someday, Nagi will be able to meet someone who share the same passions as her. With that the two became friends. Upon his returns, Yamato discovers Mei and Nagi asleep while embracing each other. He becomes glad that the two had finally made amends.
